Today in rock 'n' roll history
Today in history, January 16th 1957, the Cavern Club opened its doors to the public. This is where Brian Epstein first saw The Beatles performing. Other bands to play at the Cavern Club include: The Rolling Stones, Badfinger, The Hollies, The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds, and Elton John.
